Membership of Bewl Valley is not just about Racing there are plenty of opportunities for those who enjoy just being on the water.
We have a RYA recognised Training Centre where you can learn to sail.

Windsurfers can learn to sail with "Bewl Windsurfing".

We have a variety of Social as well as Sailing activities - navigate to them using the drop-down Menu at the top of the next Window.

There are 9 adopted fleets and you will always find someone else with a boat similar to yours and members are usually very interested in helping newcomers to our sport get the best out of their boat.

As with every sporting activity each has their own risks and a common injury that can occur with sailing athletes is back pain/injury. This is why many experts recommend back support & brace protection to limit the occurrence or re-occurrence of such injuries.

As an experienced sailor I am always keen to share some tips. I suffer with long legs(!) and I struggle to find sailing pants that fit so recently I bought a pair of snowboarding pants that fit perfectly. No longer will I need to expose my skin at the times when I need protection the most. Hell I can even got to the mountains and ski in them!

There are many sailing clubs not just in the UK but in fantastic surroundings overseas. If you are traveling to any of these overseas sailing clubs get your holiday money before you leave the UK. You will get a much better rate than you would in any of the foreign countries and can even get the cash delivered next day to your home address.

Our Web Site should give you all the information you need about the activities of our Club.
